Dave Jamison - Varsity Head Coach
Coach Jamison is looking forward to his 19th season as Head Coach of the Chargers and 31st season at the high school level. Dave received his B.S. and ED.M. from Washington State University and teaches Health & Fitness at Kentridge. The Chargers have won the SPSL title 4 times and played in the 4A State Playoffs 8 of the last 12 years- losing in the State title game in 2OT during the 2006-07 season, finishing 3rd in 2008-09 and 6th in 2010-11. The Chargers went to the State Tournament in the Tacoma Dome 4 years ago and to the State Regionals 3 of the last 4 years. His top priorities are to prepare his players for their future and help give them a lifetime of memories.
John Flanigan - JV Head Coach
Coach Flanigan is a 1987 graduate of Ephrata HS and received his teaching degree from Washington State University in 1992. John will begin his 13th year assisting basketball at KR this season. Coach Flanigan is also the Head Baseball Coach at Kentridge and also coaches KR Golf. John teaches Social Studies at KR. John motivates his players to play hard and is an integral part of our recent success.
Brad McKnight - C-Team Head Coach
Coach McKnight begins his 4th season on the Charger staff after 12 seasons as a varsity assistant and JV coach at Life Christian Academy in Tacoma. A 1994 graduate of Newport High School, Brad played his college basketball at San Jose State, Gonzaga, and Pacific Lutheran. Coach McKnight graduated from PLU in 1999 with a B.A. in Business Administration, and works as a software engineer. Brad will be instrumental in the development of our post players and looks forward to helping the Charger program continue its success!
Austin Link - Program Asst. Coach
Coach Link begins his 1st season on the Charger staff. Austin graduated from Stanford University in 2012 where he was a practice squad player for a women's team that reached three straight final fours. Austin now works in Kent as an aerospace engineer. He looks forward to helping players develop on and off the court.
