Dave Jamison - Varsity Head Coach
Coach Jamison is looking forward to his 20th season as Head Coach of the Chargers and 32nd season at the high school level. Dave received his B.S. and ED.M. from Washington State University and teaches Health & Fitness at Kentridge. The Chargers have won the SPSL title 5 times and played in the 4A State Playoffs 9 of the last 13 years- losing in the State title game in 2OT during the 2006-07 season, finishing 3rd in 2008-09 and 6th in 2010-11. The Chargers went to the State Tournament in the Tacoma Dome last year before losing in the quarterfinals to eventual Champion Gonzaga Prep. His top priorities are to prepare his players for their future and help give them a lifetime of memories.
John Flanigan - JV Head Coach
Coach Flanigan is a 1987 graduate of Ephrata HS and received his teaching degree from Washington State University in 1992. John will begin his 14th year assisting basketball at KR this season. Coach Flanigan is also the Head Baseball Coach at Kentridge and also coaches KR Golf. John teaches Social Studies at KR. John motivates his players to play hard and is an integral part of our recent success.
Charlie Mitchell - C-Team Head Coach
Coach Mitchell is back after a 5 year hiatus to start his family- he's back beginning his 9th year assisting Kentridge Basketball. Charlie graduated from Kent-Meridian HS and Western Washington University. Coach Mitchell also coaches Golf at KR. Charlie teaches PE at Meeker and Health at KR. Coach Mitchell heads up the scouting duties for the program which is instrumental for game preparation.
Austin Link - Program Asst. Coach
Coach Link returns for his second season on the Charger staff. Austin graduated from Stanford University in 2012 where he was a practice squad player for a women's team that reached three straight final fours. Austin now works in Kent in the aerospace engineering field. He looks forward to helping players develop on and off the court.
